I think the FAQ on fuel types maybe needs an update. It tells a number of people (me included since Ihave a B230ET) to use 98Ron Supergreen - and I haven't seen any of that for a while. Or am I getting shortsighted? Am I likely to have had a conversion in the past to be able to use unleaded, and is it likely to be on the the great Volvo computer? Am I likely to stuff my valve seats if I use 95Ron - the usual stuff? Am I right I will stuff my turbo if I use lead replacement additives? Do I need to use one of the wizzy high performance petrols - and if they don't have lead in, how do they save the valve seats? If I ought to be using 98 octance, it might follow that the knock sensor (even on the not very clever Motronic system) will be backing my advance off and so maybe if I use the clever stuff I wil go faster?
