HUI lost connection after restart

When i first start PT all is fine, but when i quit and restart i loose my communication with the HUI. If i quit again, and disconnect the emagic MT4 wich i use, and reconnect it and restart PT all is back fine. Is there a solution for this odd behaviour? PT6.1; MIX+; G4dual800; osx10.2.6; emagic MT4; HUI

The same equipment is used without any problems in OS9, so there must be a software solution for this, maybe something inside AudioMidi Setup (1.01 here).

switch th eMT on and off, that should do the trick.

I know. Thats what i found out. See my first post. I cannot dis-and-reconnect the MT4 because then my USB crashes and i have to restart the puter. So, when i lost connection, i have to quit PT, disconnect MT4, reconnect it, and restart PT. I am trying to avoid this.
