recording delay

Can anyone tell me why I get flashing reacord and play buttons whenever I hit record now, along with a delay of about two seconds(in PTLE 5.1.1, 933 mhz g4)? Never happened before, now it's there all the time. Thanks in advance. edwardo

Check your two bar count off button on the transport (expanded to show midi operations). dk

dkrz, thanks a lot. Don't need to tell you how dumb I feel, but I never use PT for midi, and didn't even have the midi cintrols open. I had copied someone else's session some time ago, and they used the count in... thanks again. Edwardo
